In association with PBK, HY Architects designed the new St. Helena High School Auditorium to accommodate a variety of uses for the school’s performing arts program. The project involved new construction of the 350-seat theater, including a drama classroom, band room, scene shop, box office, and lobby, as well as site improvements for enhanced vehicular and pedestrian access.
The exterior design pays careful attention to the historic character of Vintage Hall, an adjacent building on the campus, and provides a sweeping and welcoming entrance to the facility and the campus. Inside, the facility includes state-of-the-art lighting, sound, and acoustical systems to support students’ creativity and a wide range of needs across different functions.
