HY Architects recently designed a state-of-the-art Behavioral Health Center in Hollister, California. This new modular facility spans across 17,212 SF and features counseling offices, group rooms, family rooms, offices for clinicians, intake rooms, exam rooms, and spacious reception and waiting areas.
Commissioned by San Benito County, HY Architects was selected to design the new clinic. To maintain the design intent, HY Architects opted for a modular construction delivery method and developed bridging documents, assisted in the bidding process, and monitored the construction documents and administration phases.
Despite the modular construction, the building looks and feels like a slab-on-grade building with a recessed foundation, concrete floors, and hidden connections between the modular units. Additionally, the project included site work, such as parking, landscaping, lighting, and a trash enclosure, which were developed on the adjacent one-acre property.
