HY Architects completed an accessibility upgrade and barrier removal for the Harold E. Jones Child Study Center on the UC Berkeley campus. The building was originally designed by Joseph Esherick and has historical significance for the campus. Consequently, we have developed creative solutions to address the ADA issues in order to be sensitive to the context of the building. At the same time, we were able to successfully incorporate University policy and requirements into the design.
